Simple & Easy Frozé

Serves: 3 glasses Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 a bottle Rosé
  • 1/4th cup white sugar
  • 1/4th cup water
  • 6 large strawberries
  • Juice of 1/4th lemon or lime
  • 1 cup ice
  • 30 ml vodka(optional)

Instructions

Freeze half the rosé bottle overnight in a container or pan (you can also use a zip lock plastic bag)

Add water and sugar to a saucepan and cook until it dissolves

Once the sugar melts add the strawberries and cook for 2-3 minutes until soft

Take the mixture off the heat and wait for it to cool

Strain the mixture and your strawberry syrup is ready (you can use the leftovers as strawberry jam!)

In a blender add the frozen rosé, strawberry syrup, vodka, ice and lemon juice

Blend well and serve immediately
