Healthy No-Bake Yogurt Fruit Tart

Serves: 1 tart Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • For the crust:
  • 1.5 cups hazelnuts
  • 12 regular dates or 8 medjool dates
  • 1 TBsp cocoa powder
  • For the filling:
  • 400 gms of greek yogurt
  • 1 TBsp of maple syrup/honey (Add more if you want the mixture sweeter)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Soak the dates in warm water for 10 minutes

Toast the hazelnuts in a pan, till golden brown

Pulse the nuts with the dates and cocoa powder in a blender. I used my Hamilton Beach India Juicer, Mixer, Grinder. This grinder has a specific pulse option which I used to get a coarse texture for the tart

Add the mixture to a greased 8 inch tart tin and press it down equally

For the filling, whisk in some vanilla and maple syrup to the greek yogurt(I used a good quality thick epigamia greek yogurt)

Add the filling to the tart and refrigerate for an hour

Top up with your favourite fruit and serve cold!
